Molecular Diagnostics

We offer a wide range of molecular assays for high throughput and reliable diagnosis of infectious diseases, human malignancies, genetic and metabolic disorders. We use Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) - based technologies, DNA sequencing, DNA hybridization, Flow cytometric techniques and high performance liquid chromatograph (HPLC) technology for diagnosis and disease monitoring. We also provide downstream proteomic assays such as immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunometric assays (e.g. ELISAs), and Western blotting. Some of our assays include Bcr-ABL1, PML-RARA, API-MALT1 gene fusion,  HER-2, Oestrogen receptor, Haemoglobinopathy (PCR and HPLC), JAK2 V617F mutation analysis, Bcr-Abl1 mutation analysis, Prothrombin and Factor V Leiden mutation analysis, Malaria and other blood borne parasites (PCR method), Viral tests: HIV, HBV, HCV, CMV, HPV, Norovirus, Influenza viruses (ELISA and PCR methods), IHC for more than 200 tumour markers including oestrogen and progesterone receptors; G6PD deficiency, EGFR, K-RAS mutation analysis, TP53 mutation analysis, Tuberculosis diagnosis (PCR method), FLT-3, Nucleophosmin (NPM1), PCA3, IgH heavy rearrangement, Coagulation factors,  Hormone assays, Serum electrophoresis, cardiac and lipid profiles, HbA1c etc. Please contact the Laboratory Manager for a full list of available assays.
