We are committed to exploring African Medicinal Plants (AMP) for novel therapeutic agents. We collaborate with local institutions in Africa to provide plant extracts for further testing in our research facilities.

We focus mainly on in vitro testing using tissue culture techniques. Currently, we are screening several herbal extracts for prevention of prostate cancer, breast and primary liver cancers. We also evaluate African herbal teas. In addition, we engage in improving post harvest technologies in developing countries.
